Favorite Photos etc.

Most of the photos you will find here do not appear in my blog, although there may be a few repeats.

I took this photo at the end of January on one of our Boy Scout Troop trips.  I really just happen to love how this picture came out overall.

A beautiful purple flower. This was my first experiment with selective coloring. Truly one of my favorite edits to date thus far.

My neighbor is a wonderful gardener, well in fact anyone is in comparission to me, i've got to black thumbs. LOL. We got a lot of snow here in NYC this past winter. one of my neighbors plants held its blooms all winter. This was the pretty pink blooms covered in snow. still one of my all time favorite photos.

This is my new favorite photo. Our troop participated in a shooting competition recently and whats the fun in letting the kids have all the fun. My dad came on this trip with us, and he really had a great time shooting the shot gun. so here you can see him shooting "trap" and you can see the orange clay pigeon leaving the launcher. It really was a serendipitous shot. and for that, i love it. :-) also cause its my dad, yeah that has nothign to do with me loving it either ;-)

I went to Shanghai in March 2008 and promptly got sick when I got off the plane. However one of the bright spots in my trip was visiting the Old City and the bridge of nine turnings (pictured above). Below the bridge are tons and tons of huge coy fish.

One of my best friends got married to the love of her life in 2007, and lucky me caught the boquet :-)

My beautiful sister, Kris. She's 18 now and starting college in late August. Makes me feel old, theres 11 years between us.

And last but not least, the boyrfriend...
He tries to look all fierce and mean and stoic and stuff, but as you can see, he's really just a big 'ol teddy bear.
